University of Florida geochemist George Kamenov works with samples of teeth and bone he will run through a mass spectrometer from one of his two ICP Labs for yet another cold case he is working on at the University of Florida's Department of Geological Sciences Williamson Hall on the campus in Gainesville, Florida Sunday November 11, 2012. Kamenov's analysis of teeth and bone played a key role in the cold case investigation into the death of a young girl whose remains were found in 1971 along the southern end of Lake Panasoffkee near Interstate 75. Through his anaylsis, Kamenov discovered that the remains, named Little Miss Panasoffkee, were likely from a young girl who had grew up in Greece and come to the U.S. less than a year before her murder.(Kelly Jordan)
